The most successful transitions are when individuals and teams are able to identify and apply the core of what made them successful in one arena seamlessly to the next so they can continue to succeed beyond excellence.
Unfortunately, the #1 mistake made in massive transition is viewing it as starting over or starting from the bottom, rather than recognizing how they achieve their peak performance using that as the catalyst to transition to an even higher level of achievement.
(The number one mistake is that people rush the process and try to avoid the discomfort that comes from the difficulty of change – people who evolve as a result of transition, and achieve peak performance across many projects in life is their ability to struggle and do it well).
The Transition Effect™ addresses this and helps individuals and teams form their new identity while capitalizing on the sum of their prior achievements and experiences.
For over 10 years, Erin Smith has been helping collegiate sports teams, and expanding management teams identify and navigate through The Transition Effect™ so they can chart new territories and achieve greatness beyond their expectations.
No stranger to The Transition Effect™, after working with Division 1 sports teams and giving countless presentations to major universities, she transferred her sports psychology expertise to Bridgewater, the world’s largest hedge fund, managing two of the most integral investment teams in the company.
Erin graduated with honors receiving her Undergraduate Degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a Masters Degree in Sports Psychology from Boston University.
